Chris Chiaru Lin — Creator

Chris Lin is the author of the Award Winning story book series Mandy and Pandy, and co-author of the Activity Book. He has a Literature, Science and Arts degree from the University of Michigan with High Honors. He has studied Chinese for over 10 years at the University of Michigan, Taiwan, and China where he was an expatriate for an American Company. He has a 7 year old daughter named Mandy who he developed this book series for… this book is dedicated to Mandy for the fun that she brings to life!

 

 

Ingrid Villalta — Illustrator

Ingrid was born in San José, Costa Rica. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in Graphic Arts at the University of Costa Rica. Currently she is pursuing a Master degree in Digital Media from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  Ingrid is Fluent in English & Spanish.
Ingrid was a Senior Graphic Designer for Avon of Costa Rica. She works as a freelance Illustrator & packaging designer for several clients like “Bath Accessories Company, Inc.”in Hayward, CA & “www.presafekids.com” in Malibu California.

Song Song – Co-author of the Activity Books

Song Song is the co-author of the Activity Book. She was born in Shanghai, China and now lives with her family in Michigan. She is a post-baccalaureate from Eastern Michigan University and is certified to teach K-12 Chinese language and culture. In addition to writing, Song teaches Chinese in public schools in Troy, Michigan.
